The public relations team of the European Surfing Championships are delighted to announce a partnership with Malin Waters, the exciting new brand inspired by the unique marine diversity that covers the shared maritime waters of North West Ireland, Northern Ireland and Western Scotland. The support of Malin Waters, will enable Eurosurf to undertake a comprehensive marketing campaign including radio advertising and a press and internet campaign to publicise the upcoming European Surfing Championships which is also supported by Fáilte Ireland and will be held in Bundoran from September 23rd until October 2nd.
Speaking about the partnership, Eurosurf Press Officer Shane Smyth said “We are delighted that Malin Waters have come onboard – it will let us let a lot more people know that Eurosurf is happening – we’ll be undertaking a radio campaign on stations across Ireland, we’ll pretty much be taking over Magic Seaweed (www.magicseaweed.com) in the weeks prior to the event and you’ll also see us advertising in prominent surfing magazines including Surf Europe and Tonnta.
Commenting on behalf of Malin Waters, Ms Lee-Anne Doherty, Marketing Officer – Sail West employed by Donegal County Council – said “The Eurosurf typifies the kind of prestigious event that we want to see come into the MalinWaters region. The North West of Ireland is a great location for marine activities and the hosting of EuroSurf in Bundoran strengthens this message.” Ms Doherty also noted that the MalinWaters brand is part financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund through INTERREG IVA Cross-Border Programme.
