Culzean Castle, 7 miles north of Girvan, has approximately 600 acres of beautiful countryside with woodland walks, colourful terraced gardens, charming follies and inviting sandy bays. During the summer season, the castle, gardens, visitor centre, shops and restaurants are open daily.

The Castle is an 18th-century masterpiece by Robert Adam, perched on a cliff high above the Firth of Clyde, with spectacular views to Ailsa Craig andArran. The Castle itself boasts a fine oval staircase, an impressive armoury, and the circular saloon, with its panoramic views over theClyde.
The extensive grounds encompassScotland’s first country park where you can explore thedeer park, swan pond, miles of woodland walks and an adventure playground.
