Most experiences in and around Glasgow are cultural rather than physical. Within walking distance of the visitor pontoons at Glasgow Harbour are The Tall Ship, the Riverside Museum, Hunterian Museum, Kelvingrove Museum and Art gallery, and a host more attractions in the west end of the city.
Glasgow is, of course, a major cultural centre with an important industrial past. This is evident everywhere, but nowhere more so than in the Riverside Museum, which houses the city’s transport collection.
Also nearby is one of the country’s biggest concert venues, the SECC, where world famous performers appear. Visiting Glasgow from the sea, and taking in all or some of the above cultural treats is an experience not to be missed.
