Armadale

Armadale, Isle of Skye, Highland, West Scotland

Armadale is a natural stopping off point for vessels heading north from Ardnamurchan. The moorings are managed by Isle of Skye Yachts and are busiest on Thursday and Friday nights but it is rare that one cannot be found for visitors.

A half tide pontoon is available for loading and unloading but it is busy with commercial users so if you are leaving your dinghy unattended please make sure it is clear of the pontoon.

Armamadale is a great place to leave a yacht or for crew changes as the ferry provides an easy link to Mallaig and onto the rail network.
