Carrick Castle, Argyll & the Isles, West Scotland
Yachts and other boats up to 15 tonnes visiting Carrick Castle can use the blue visitor’s mooring buoys with yellow pick-up buoys, one cable north of the castle, serviced annually. Please note these pick up buoys are removed over the winter months.The visitor’s mooring charge is £10.00 per night that can be paid for by using PayPal at www.pay-mooring.co.uk. There is free Wi-Fi available at the moorings or if no computer on board payment should be made within 14 days of use. Lunchtime stopovers are free between 1100 & 1400 only. Do not use any private moorings. There is lots of information on the Carrick Castle Boat Club website, including directions for and photographs of several walks, and a lot more besides. You can access this information by WiFi from your boat.
