Lochgoilhead has sheltered moorings at the head of Loch Goil, an arm of Loch Long. These are located at the North East corner of the Loch, just off the pontoon for landing of tenders. The Lochgoilhead area is rich in things to offer the visitor. Within the village there are shops, a post office, hotels, restaurants and a golf course and health club offering swimming, suana, and gymnasium facilties.There are two restaurants, bars, and shops within five minutes walk. Gas is available (at PO), and water and public toilets are situated in the village.
