Enniscrone Beach, Enniscrone, Co Sligo

Enniscrone beach is one of the safest and tidiest beaches along the west coast of Ireland and has regained its Blue Flag status. Enniscrone Beach is located in west County Sligo, 13km from Ballina, County Mayo and 48km from Sligo town. The beach has a 5km stretch of fine sands and is backed by sandunes, which are rich in flora and fauna.

The ‘Valley of Diamonds’ is one of the hidden attractions along the beach; it is the largest of volcano-like compositions among the long-grassed sand dunes, the inside of which is a mostly sandy circler-like valley, it is located near the end of the beach.
