RYA Scotland:

The RYANI is the Governing Body for the sport of sailing and boating in Northern Ireland.

Irish Sailing Association:

The ISA is the National Governing Body for Sailing and Motorboating in Ireland.

RYA Northern Ireland:

The Green Blue is the joint environment programme created by the British Marine Federation and Royal Yachting Association for anyone who enjoys getting out on the water or whose livelihood depends on it. We help boat users, boating businesses, sailing clubs and training centres to reduce their impact on coastal and inland waters.

Scottish Canals:

The Scottish canals are a dynamic public asset making a proactive and proven contribution to the economic, environmental and social fabric of Scotland. This website provides detailed information on the canals operated by British Waterways Scotland.

Inland Waterways Ireland:

A voluntary organisation that advocates the use, maintenance, protection, restoration and improvement of the inland waterways of Ireland.


The Loughs Agency is a cross-border body, exercising a statutory remit for conservation, protection and development across the Foyle and Carlingford catchments. Our objectives for these river systems and sea areas include development of fisheries and aquaculture, conservation and protection of inland fisheries and sustainable development of marine tourism.

Royal National Lifeboat Institution:

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We provide, on call, a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service and a seasonal lifeguard service.

Maritime & Coastguard Agency:

The MCA is the UK agency working to prevent the loss of lives at sea and is responsible for implementing British & International maritime law and safety policy.
