Portnoo, Co Donegal, North West Ireland

The island of Inishkeel, with ancient monastic remains, shelters the holiday village of Portnoo, with beautiful sandy bays to east and southwest of the island. The bay to the east, Church Pool, is the best anchorage between Aranmore Island and Rossan Point. The coastal scenery between here and Rossan Point, with 150-metre stacks and towering cliffs, is stunning.
