Mallaig Harbour’s new yacht facilities, include pontoon berths for 45 yachts and additional moorings for busy periods. This development has been funded by MalinWaters.
Mallaig was once the largest herring port in Europe, and is still a thriving fishing and ferry port for the Isle of Skye, the Small Isles and Inverie.
There are plenty of options for shopping, eating or drinking with several restaurants, pubs and takeaways available. Coffees, snacks, gifts and books are available at the Mallaig Visitor Centre and Got It, and both provide tourist information and internet access.
Local history can be viewed at the Mallaig Heritage Centre near the Railway Station.
